It was past two,
The moon started to slumber –
Sway, slightly
Waiting – for the day break

That was the moon.
I just lay on the concrete
– Staring at my tear stained reflection
Wondering – “How bad do heartbreaks hurt?”

Melancholy – it’d hit the air
Paint it, in tears and sadness
Oozing a subtle fading blue
While I’d try to die

Stuck in a concrete fishbowl
I’d nightmare my way through it
Depression swirls – ’round me
The blue –black is but tempting
Condolences moon my dear,
You don’t reek sad –
Humans do –
Sorry for the heartbreak woes
